meet lisa Pulliam
Lisa Pulliam, the founder of StableMinded.us, is passionate about helping youth, adults, and groups stabilize and thrive through growing emotionally resilient and relationally strong.
As a passionate educator and seasoned life coach, Lisa equips her clients with practical skills to navigate through anxiety, fear, insecurity, hurt, shame, mental blocks, leadership challenges, and relational conflict as she simplifies the brain-body-relationship connection that shapes mindset and habits.
Lisa's goal is to see her clients stabilize and thrive as they become emotionally resilient and relationally strong in the face of challenges and uncover the life they were made to live.
Over the last two decades, Lisa has specialized in working with women, coaching and mentoring around personal and professional needs. Although she can bring a faith-based perspective into her sessions if so desired, she is committed to the unbiased process of equipping the client to make decisions as a result of their own "ah-ha" moments as she creates a safe place for self-discovery and transformation.
Lisa brings not only experience but also an eclectic approach to working with clients as a result of her numerous certifications and studies. She is a certified Natural Lifemanship Trauma-Informed Equine-Assisted Coach and Equine Specialist, Life Breakthrough Coach, Highlands Ability Battery Consultant, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Clinical Counseling with a Trauma concentration from Eastern University.
In 2011, Lisa launched More to Be as an overflow of her in-real-life work as a mentor to tween and teen girls, after serving at an international boarding and day school for 18 years, which evolved into a faith-based coaching company serving women from around the world. She is a sought-after speaker as well as the author of numerous books, including Meet the New You and Unblinded Faith.
You might notice that Lisa also goes by "Elisa," which is her given name and the name she was using professionally in the early years of her work. However, she's been going by "Lisa" for more than a decade and has a great story about why she ditched the "E" in her name with her anger, so be sure to ask her about it.
She counts her husband of 25 years and their four children (plus her son-in-law) her life's greatest blessings. She savors slowing down with God, her family, and friends and delights in any time spent in the saddle or hanging out in the pasture with a herd of horses and humans.
